It picks up eventually (basically after the ending scene of this episode). I do hope Jung Ji So is able to have a successful career and not be victim of being part of the most internationally successful korean film in history at such a young age. This struggled ratings-wise and Doom at Your Service didn't do as expected even with Suh In Guk and Park Bo Young. I will say, it's always fun seeing Danny Ahn. Brings me back to Gen 1 days

okay but the comment about the sasaeng not realizing that she's a sasaeng, i forget which fandom (i think nct?) it was but like 2 days ago a KNOWN SASAENG account on twitter retweeted the company's notice about taking legal action against sasaengs and everyone was like ??????? i'd say a good 80% of them don't even realize that they are the thing everyone hates

Don't let Joon Park and KTW's makeup fool you these days......they're all ajusshi-deul now!

If you do have a chance, either for the next reaction or for girl group livestream, you should react to Tea Party's performance on KBS. It was a special performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_mSPGiJ3zQ

i guess my biggest problem with this show is the way ryeok is written. I feel like they tried to write a classic tsundere character but he just turned out like an character that doesn't feel like a real person? Like he's either really rude for no reason at all or almost some kind of comic relief and it just doesn't work for me. I'm also not a huge fan of the main pairing as a whole, absolutely no chemistry there for me, but the rest of the characters really grew on me with time after being developed a little more. Glad to see you liking it!

It’s why I keep hoping they pursue a bipolar storyline for Ryeok. It would be really ambitious to tackle a mental health story line in an idol related show.

Yess I agree love the show more when is not that serious, light sometimes you need those lighthearted dramas that allow you to relieve stress from dramas like the penthouse lol, but these two ep did peak up the series a lot for me. And show me is a bop xD

- the way the other members of Shax got up when Yoojin barged in like they were gonna beat him - Ryeok looked like the death note character in his stage outfit - there's a bunch of little clips in this show that don't match up where they're placed

The middle episodes are the best it starts going down hill again for me like at ep 9

In the Wonderwall interview, ATEEZ Hongjoong said when promoting Pirate king (debut) they had a minute or two on music shows and some weeks they couldn't promote because there wasn't time for them on the shows. So Imitation really portraits well the industry form inside. Also I already knew big company privilege but this kind of things made me realize how impactful it can be in groups careers and how much harder groups from unknown companies must work.

I think some of the issues come from the webtoon, i haven't read it but it feels like the webtoon style of flipping back and it feels off sometimes and it shows a little in ryeoks character but that could also be part of his story as u said, i think it's be cool if they touched on mental health or neurodivergency since they did say he went to a therapy and it effected him a lot but then again but i feel like they'll just make it him being a tsundere, either way it's still pretty entertaining my only issues are that idk how they're solving all of the issues in 12 episodes, i'm worried they'll just rush it and it'll be really dumb. i hope they don't do that and just make a season 2 or a part 2 but i'm not caught up fully so idk. my other problem is that i wish they recorded live vocals for some of this stuff but ik not all of them are stronger singers or actual idols so it'll be hard for them but it's like so obvious they're not actually singing sometimes, i think later on tho in performances where the ones performing can sing well live, they did it well and it sounded better but it's not consistent which annoyed me a little but still it's enjoyable

Agree. Tbh, I stopped watching around ep 7 😅 I think I'll only be able to finish the show through PD's reactions lol

rockthekazb0t

You know what's funny/sad, PD? Diamond became such a meme of a bad song that when it was released, it briefly charted on the music charts, higher than a lot of ACTUAL Ateez songs 😅😅😅

Connor (Cyndr)

I really enjoyed this episode! Very silly and fun. I agree it really gets good when it's just having fun with itself. Not sure what's going on with some of these character arcs, but the plot is very entertaining now

I was so uncomfortable during their kiss scene. He looks 30 and she looks 10!
