Bonnie couldn’t believe her luck after Doctor Henry extracted Maddy’s soul from her own body. The spirit had spent years regretting her life decisions, and when the young woman attempted to force her out of her body, Bonnie didn’t know what to do. “And now her body’s mine,” she smirked. “The doctor didn’t even realize that it was the wrong soul.”

Now, with the body of a 21-year-old, Bonnie decided that she was going to enjoy her life to the fullest. She was going to avoid living an isolated life. She never went out in her old body, and at the age of 60, she realized that she’d missed out on most of her life after dying so early. “I’m not making that mistake again.” And now, she was at the local beach in a bikini that would’ve never fit in her old, flabby body. Maddy was a healthy young woman, and unlike her previous body, the young woman wasn’t about to die from a heart attack any time soon.

Maddy’s body was pure eye candy. Now that Bonnie had been given a second chance at life, she was determined to make the most of a fit and healthy physique. She waltzed around in her tight bikini and sunglasses, and she walked down to the shoreline with a cool breeze caressing her soft skin. The air blew her silky brown hair all over the place, but she didn’t care. The sun felt warm on her skin, and as she closed her eyes, she took in the moment. She could hear the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and she could feel the soft sand under her feet. This was life.

Now that Bonnie was the only soul inhabiting her body, she was no longer throwing temper tantrums. She remembered how stressful it was to do whatever she wanted to do. Whenever she’d possess Maddy and move around in her body, the young girl’s soul always tried to push her out. That was why she had to turn to throwing objects around to relieve the pain and stress. “And now I don’t have to worry about that,” she giggled excitedly while she moved onward. “I just hope the girl’s moved on by now.”

Bonnie didn’t know where Maddy’s soul would go now that she had stolen her life. Her soul might have moved onto the afterlife instead of her own, or perhaps her soul was constantly following her around. Regardless, Bonnie did her best not to think about it. The only thing she wanted to focus on was making the right changes to her new life.

And as she walked along the beach, Bonnie couldn't help but notice how much easier things would be. She could feel the stares from the men around her. She had never had the chance to flirt and have fun with men before, especially since she had low self-esteem and confidence. With Maddy’s gorgeous body, she smiled and laughed at how easy attracting men was. Bonnie spent the day laughing, flirting, and enjoying the company of the men around her. She had never felt so alive, and she knew that she would never take this second chance for granted.
