Brooke had always dreamed of traveling the world, but she couldn't afford it. Two years into a math degree had left her broke. So when she stumbled upon a magic shop that offered a magical stone that could send her mind to various parts of the world, she knew she had to have it. She quickly bought the stone and eagerly went home to use it.

As she closed her eyes and focused on the stone, she felt her mind being pulled out of her body. She was transported to the most beautiful and exotic places she had ever imagined. She saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Great Wall of China, and the pyramids of Egypt. She was able to explore these places in a way that she never could have before, and she was thrilled.

Brooke could hear every foreign word. She could spy on literally anyone, and the possibilities were basically endless. However, the store owner had warned her not to be away from her body for too long, or she would naturally move on to the afterlife. Brooke was so caught up in her travels that she didn't pay attention to the time. When she finally returned to her body, she was horrified to find that somebody else was controlling it.

Rebecca, the 62-year-old store owner, was the one who had taken control of Brooke's body. When Brooke had bought the stone, she saw an opportunity to start over when Brooke bought the magical projection stone. Rebecca was unable to work comfortably because she had a bad back and was unable to do much physical work. But now that she was in Brooke's young and healthy body, she was excited about all the possibilities.

“I can’t believe she left herself empty for so long,” the body thief laughed. “I wasn’t expecting to be able to do this so soon. But it couldn’t have happened at a better time. The store lease was up, and there was no way I was going to pay my debts…” Brooke floated helplessly while she watched Rebecca take over her life. She tried to yell at her, but the thief either ignored or couldn’t hear her. She was powerless to stop it, and she felt like she was losing everything she had ever worked for. Rebecca loved her new pain free existence. Her luscious dark hair and slim figure oozed with beauty. Brooke was devastated, but she knew that she had to find a way to get her body back.

Unfortunately, the old store owner wasn’t lying when she said that waiting too long was a bad idea. As Rebecca starts to enjoy her new life, Brooke felt herself lifting into the air. She helplessly clawed at her old body, but it was no use. The old store owner had made herself comfortable, and the only place Brooke could go was the next life.
