I understand how pilots have upset recovery training etc. But is it possible to train how to regain situational awareness after it’s lost? In your videos, where everyone lived to tell about it, is of course one example of how to recover. But is there a way, a method, a conscience choice a pilot can make to realize and recover from an overwhelming situation? I’m sure checklists and CRM all exist towards this goal. But I was wondering if there is something personal, that one can practice.

The Captain seems to be suffering from the "startle effect." I don't think you have covered the difference in behavior between "startle" and "surprise" in any of your videos. May I suggest it as a future topic? Third party authors have begun to write about it and its implications for piloting and CRM, but EASA and the FAA are slow to cover it.

It has been covered, but I can't remember which video right now. These type of psychological factors are good to review whenever they pop up though :)
