Since I posted that other turret-lathe video, I figured you ladies and gents might like to see the "other half" of the part.

Tried to be a little more detailed with the editing, to give a better idea of the 'order of operations' but yeah, I still need a lot of practice. :)

W&S Turret Lathe: The other half of that part!

Thought you might like to see the rest of that Nelson valve body part. I should have set it up in the now-repaired Omniturn, but I don't yet have a tapping head for that (it can't rigid tap) and my internal threading bars were too big. Also, is the CNC still down?

Rookie question, Doc. Are you able to recycle/reuse the lubricating fluid or do you have to use new every time?

It recycles. There's a catch tray at the base of the machine, which drains into a sump, where the pump picks it up again. There's a semi-coarse filter, but I've been thinking of adding a proper spin-on filter.
