This one has several interesting features ^^
First it's a very compartmentalized picture. Basically you have the sky, the two giantesses, and then the rest of the city and characters. It makes things really easy when it comes to changing things or adding details. Just use the right layer and things are going to overlap further elements pretty much automatically. That was handy when I added that smoke on the legs of the giantesses for example and then decided to move them a bit. the smoke just stayed where it was without having to redraw the lines^^
The second interesting thing is the fact it's an urban landscape which means.. perspective ! As you can see I use a special layer ( you can find it toward the top ^^ ), that shows a perspective grid. Notice that I use it as a guide and reference but I'm not drawing my lines exactly according to it. Two reasons for that : First having a perfectly accurate perspective tend to make a picture rather cold I think. Personally I'm not a big fan. Second, when lines approach the vanishing point, drawing them exactly according to a grid tend to make your perspective look actually false. That's because the human eye actually don't work with something like a precise vanishing point. Things are more muddled the more you approach that point. Personally I find the best way is to just ignore the grid near the vanishing point and draw as you feel it :3
On the contrary, when you are far from the vanishing point, using the perspective grid to draw is more important and leave little room for interpretation. So to sum up : when you draw far from the vanishing point, use a grid or some kind of guide, when you draw near the vanishing point, use your instinct ! ;3
I hope this trick can help you ! please don't hesitate if you have any questions :3
