I loved how selfaware they were in this episode, with lines like "did Jet die?...it's unclear", or "...and then Combustion Man died, I think", and another funny line that you might of not catch on was after the Jet & Katara scene they were flying on Appa and Aang said "look it's the Geat Divide, the biggest canyon in the Earthkingdom!" and Sokka said "ee, let's keep flying", The Great Divide was the ep in S1 when they had to travel through that canyon with the 2 rival groups, that scene basically said "let's not bother telling that story again cause it's filler".

Sokka is like I like the actor for me than he goes and hangs out with him backstage and gives him some pointers on being funny.

Don’t focus too much about who wrote the play. It’s not important. You were right when you said it was just a fun recap episode. That’s really all it was.

I watched this episode when it aired and it was one of my least favorites. I was expecting another episode for the Zuko redemption arc. Instead, we got a comical version of a clip show retrospective. With time, I have to come to really enjoy it and always look forward to getting this point in a rewatch. My favorite joke is Toph being played a buff adult male instead of a scrawny little girl because the Actor Toph is basically Toph's original design for the show.

This isn't the penultimate episode it's just that Netflix smashes episodes together for some reason. But you've got four more episodes. The finale is a four parter as I'm sure you've heard. Are you planning on watching Legend of Korra?
