Its only 1 trow away line in the movie but if you catch it, its a BIG SPOILER.

Please keep the subs. The dub is good but for me at least it doesn't compare to the original. Don't know if this takes place on the same day as the previous episode, they mentions Hawk's area is in Kyushu thats half way across the country from Tokyo. Endeavors isn't fully redeemed but this is a good start.

Agree. I can switch between dub and sub for My Hero without missing a beat, but anime’s always better sounding in japanese.

Hmm, good to know.. Maybe before we watch it we can have someone cut the line (or tell us where to duck the audio?). As has been the plan up to this point... I s'pose we'll cross that bridge when we get to it 😅

Gonna collect some more feedback over the hiatus, but I think we'd both be A-alright sticking with the subs. Do like the dub voices, would like to check in with them at some point haha, but these VA's are fantastic! And good to know re: the Geography. In this world I think I tend to assume travel time isn't too big a hindrance for a lot of people, but a day's break would make some sense.. although part of me wonders if Endeavor would've hung out with Hawks past being cornered by him haha. And yeah, he's still got a ways to go, but GODDAMN what a turning point!!

Credit to both casts, then! But yeah, it seems like (with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions?) the original Japanese is quintessential. It's funny, actually, since a lot of The Promised Neverland characters have very English-sounding names, I think it's the first time I've thought about it in reverse - would it feel more natural in English? lol
