This finale is probably my favorite finale episode for a my hero academia season. Love this endeavor fight, awesome animation for my hero academia fight sequence. The story in this episode is amazing for endeavor, and for deku=izuku midoriya.

I loved Endeavours fight ending the season and the music too. In the manga it didn’t hit me as much with the action, but this episode had really good effects and brought the emotion and desperation which was dope. I heard the movie is safe if you’ve finished Season 4. There are slight things that may spoil but only the manga readers would recognise them anyway, I think we’re maybe 3 or 4 arcs ahead and that school festival fluff is the last breather you’ll get btw cause the shits is going off right now. Season 5 hype!

I can certainly see why! They're really good at pushing these fights to PLUS ULTRA by making the animation FUGGING INSANE and all that, but they're smart to pair with such heavy character beats. Really bolsters that intensity and gives it the impact. This was like one giant turning point/moment of realization for Endeavor. Never would'a seen that coming by season's end. It's subtler in a way, but I really like that the kids mostly just have to watch this situation unfold. And even though Midoriya is capable of A TON from what we've seen - he's not #1 yet and it's a heavy mantle to transition. SO much great stuff going on in this one :)

Hahaha I guess I'll give up my hopes of a season 5 spent entirely doing classes and putting on shows 😝I think it's a funny push/pull these kinds of stories create - half of me really just wants the kids to be able to study & have fun & not have to worry about insane, destructive conflict... and the other haaallllfff 😅👊🏼💥 I often find myself curious about how these things come across in the manga vs. the anime, but GOD are they good at making these fights sing with intensity in the animation. LOVED the variance between the colors, angles, those moments where the fire literally looked like it was charring things down to the pencil lines... but yeah.. I'll go ahead & not expect some kind of talent show to pop up next semester :P Also good to know re: the new movie! Still thinking on it, but I imagine we can find a way.

I love your guy's My Hero reactions, and this episode is immediately one of my favorites. The emotions and symbolism in Endeavor's fight was awesome. The animation was also so amazing. Now that the English dub for this episode is out, I really recommend watching it, the English voice actor for Endeavor was so good. If your still deciding whether you are going to react to the English or Japanese, I prefer the English dub, it just really gets the emotions and the feeling across to me much better than the Japanese, but I like both ( great voice acting in Japanese and English). Thanks so much for these reactions, they've made the quarantine more bearable.
