Ahoy, team!  As you may or may not know, Funimation has adjusted its dub schedule so as to accommodate their voice actors working from home.  As of the note they posted last week, this will delay the audio tracks for several shows INCLUDING MY HERO ACADEMIA.

So, what do you guys think we should do?!?

Im not watching your reactions, since i need to catch up. but i think it would be weird just to suddenly change it to sub, if all the seasons you watched before was eng dub.

stick with dub, being 70+ episodes in then switching to an entirely different cast of VAs is just too harsh of a change (for you guys, and your viewers). Plus, with subs, your only reading those epic lines. It's just too difficult to truly understand the emotion of a scene when you can only read it (i.e. that one speech by Bakugo to Deku during their fight when he blamed himself over the whole All Might fiasco, imagine if you watched the sub instead). Point is, stick with dub, you'll have an easier time with the show

Yeah, I feel ya. Funny enough (at least for us), it didn't wind up as jarring as the first time. Ideally we'd have liked to keep the uniformity across all the reactions, but I imagine the dub may still work in some capacity with the stream-alongs at least. Just hope it doesn't turn off the folks who rely more on the stream. Silver lining is it looks like there are only a few more left for the season, so hopefully it's not too much of an issue in the grand-scheme.

Hope we didn't disappoint here!! Definitely feel ya on the consistency, although at least on our end, it wound up pretty smooth this time. Obviously would've liked to have maintained complete consistency with the audio tracks, but it's not too long before season's end. Definitely a different experience in some ways, although pretty friggin' epic still! Either way, appreciate you weighing in. It does help!
