I really love the music in this episode, like the fairytale-ish, but still kinda creepy tones. And the last scene with Sam and the crossroads demon was my fav part of this whole episode because him shooting her anyway after she told him it wouldn’t change anything, was not a very “Sam” thing to do. Especially since he killed a human too, not just the demon. He felt guilty in the last episode for killing the demon couple even though it had to be done, but here he was just kinda like “fuck it” because his patience is just wearing thin. It also keeps you guessing about the “Is this the same Sam before he was raised from the dead?” thread.

Oh yeah, definitely! I'm getting increasingly worried for Sam, except I'm not entirely sure what exactly it is to be worried about 😅so I guess that's a good thing from a narrative perspective. Even if he's desperate to save his brother, he did appear pretty cold in that moment. I wonder if, in the heat of everything he forgot the human life or if he just didn't care at that moment.. Heavy stuff haha. And yes! I don't think we really touched on it much in the talk portion, but that's a good call on the music. Definitely helped to enhance the whimsy & create that contrast with the harsh violence.

Great reaction again, guys. I don't think the doctor did actually pull the plug. She just died once her spirit was at rest and left voluntarily. I agree about the casting of the bedridden girl, though. Way too healthy looking and made-up! I guess they wanted it to be very obvious that it was the same girl and that it was Snow White, but I don't think it was necessary. (The old lady wasn't beaten to death, just beaten badly - we saw her arrive in the hospital). Dean can be off-colour occasionally. It's not a line that would be written today, but TBH I think it's something that someone like Dean would say. He's an incredibly experienced hunter, but a bit socially uneducated. He'll grow up.

lol it is super ironic that you jokingly made fun of Sam as being gay for killing the hot lady demon near the end of the episode. The actress was actually Jared’s fiancée at the time (though they later broke up and I assume you ave since heard who he married - no spoilers).
