I play this game a lot, but haven't gotten my caracter level up enough to this point of the game to know the full story, but I love the game and all the traliers they put out. I've been saying for a long time now, that Lucasfilms should team up with BioWare to make full movies like these in the "Old Republic" Era. It would allow for new characters and story arcs that wouldn't interfere with existing canon, and the CG graphics from Bioware would allow for more dynamic force use and lightsaber combat, and overall just a very visually appealing film.

Oh damn.. is it a pretty expansive game? Would definitely be excited to see some more Star Wars stuff in this vein, especially on the cinematic side. Think it would be pretty awesome if Lucasfilm and Bioware could build a bridge of some sort... they clearly have a grip on both cinematics and Star Wars haha. Not that I'd necessarily want a new movie or something to be entirely CG animated, but still.. I feel like there'd be a lot of potential there..

oh yeah there’s more trailers for Old Republic. but yeah games like Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire on N64, and the Jedi Outcast games too

for sure! wish we could get some prequel series like this. Go back to the beginnings of the Jedi and young Yoda. come on, who wouldn't want that 😏

For context: this trailer takes place in a nation in the SW universe that practiced and trained both sides of the force, believe each was a necessary piece of a whole. However, keeping the two separate and in competition helped both to flourish further, and given the history of the universe there is a lot of understandable animosity among the two temples

Oh snap! Appreciate the info, brother! (also you have a pretty righteous profile picture lol) That's actually pretty fascinating. I like the idea of trying to work with both sides of the force and all that, plus the natural competition that would arise between the different camps. Would love to see them incorporating some of these kinds of ideas into the film universe 🤔
