Bitterfeld is a sleepy hamlet nestled in the mid-eastern reaches of Gertonia. Blessed with fertile soils and the nearby forest ominously named "Ghostbane," the village had all it ever needed to thrive. Yet, a shadow has crept forth from Castle Crowfall, ever since the warlord known as the "Beast of Thelarion" returned from his campaign in the Westmark. Days grew grim, and the sky took on an unnatural hue. With the strange weather came monsters and creatures that lurk in the twilight. Bitterfeld, having never needed a wall, found its farmers armed with naught but simple tools for defense. Thus, it was no challenge for the cunning necromancer to subdue the hamlet's few families. The undead that followed him now toil for him, instilling fear, while the crops stand ripe yet unharvested for the first time. What dark task do the families of Bitterfeld labor over? What does the necromancer compel them to do? And will there be a band of adventurers to restore peace to this secluded village?

Bitterfeld is a quaint village ripe for exploration, echoing the haunting vibes of Resident Evil 4, and bursting with potential for riveting tales. It could serve as a waypoint to a grander quest or the setting for a monster hunt in the woods. Perhaps, in classic fashion, a werewolf lurks among the families, awaiting discovery. THE NECROMANCER

Necromancers are magic users who pursued the arcane arts beyond the restrictions that nature and mortality place upon less curious souls. Death is a strong metaphysical concept and those tapping into the domain of biological and metaphysical death quickly find themselves swelling with power, as they carry life into the realms of death to reanimate bodies or manipulate souls, or invite death into the realms of the living, turning flesh to dust and withering body and soul. This power quickly corrupts and many societies fear, shun or hunt those who passed the threshold and invited death into their life.

INSTALLATION

• Unzip the files to FoundryVTT / data / beneos_assets / beneos_tokens / TOKEN FOLDER and rebuild the compendiums in Foundry. We have a video that explains everything in detail, it's really simple. TO THE VIDEO

Here's a list of the adjusted Tier 2 contents on Moulinette. If you've installed any of the packs, make sure to download them again to get the latest version. Please ensure that you delete any existing scenes and journals beforehand, as explained in our setup guide for Beneos Battlemaps.

• CoS 02 Ivlis Crossroads - 53 (4K + HD) - You can now switch from the scenery to the battlemap.

• CoS 02 Gates of Barovia - 53 (4K + HD) - On the overview scene, there's now a PoI connection from the Bright to the Dark version and vice versa. We managed to convince a graphic artifact to stop bothering the Dark Overview scene.

• CoS Barovia Map Landing Page: 4K and HD - On the world map, you will now be directed to the correct overview scenes of Tser Pool Camp and Tsolenka Pass.

• CoS 02 Tser Pool Camp - 22 4K and HD - We have graciously added a link for DMs from the road to the camp, so they don't have to stay behind in the woods when their players move forward. The Vistani and commoner tokens are now part of this release as well.

• CoS 05 Vallaki (4K + HD) - There is only one Nikolai Wachter in the Bluewater inn now. All Stores and Workshops in Vallaki now have working handouts. The Vistani Camp Journal Icon now is also invisible to players on the Vallaki overview map, if you haven't installed the Vistani Camp pack yet.

• CoS 02 Lake Zarovich - 52 (4K + HD) - The intro Sequence has now sound. An orphaned Aeroctie Floatling was removed.  Added one additional Boat to the Bluto scene. Bluto is now in his boat, bot below.

• CoS 11 Van Richtens Tower - 17 (4K + HD) - Intro for the interior and exploded version have sound now.

• CoS 07 Argynvostholt - 62 (4K + HD) - The throne room and chapel intro sequences have sound now.

• Our content at Beneos Battlemaps and Sceneries has not been rated by any public rating board. However, we strive to create content that refrains from glorifying violence and brutality. While our fantasy adventure maps may contain traces of violence or depict grotesque creatures, these elements are not the focal point of our creations.
