For me, the Razorcliff Cove Map is one of the coolest battle maps I've ever created. It features numerous vibrant elements that make the map both believable and stunning, while on the other side, it offers plenty of gameplay opportunities for exciting battles. There are different heights, pillars, and walls for cover, and many interesting ways to navigate across the map.

LORE

The Razorcliffs are a jagged coastline located in the northwest of Westmark. Perilously close to the Splinter Sea, this part of the ocean is subject to wild currents and storms. The two large neighboring islands, Killshork and Aberburrow, have been under the firm control of freebooters and pirates for nearly one and a half centuries. The passage to Mirgath's west remains highly lucrative for traders and adventurers alike, making the sea route an attractive, albeit dangerous, endeavor. The alternative is a lengthy detour around the entire continent. It's no wonder, then, that merchant ships band together with armed escorts to form formidable trade convoys. Yet, those pirates deemed too rebellious even by Killshork's loose standards, or simply unwilling to share their plunder, often take refuge in the numerous sea-swept caves along the Razorcliffs. They fortify these hideouts and watch from the towering cliffs for ships rich with potential loot, some even continuing their vigil beyond death.

This is a regular token from Beneos Tokens, Spells, and Items, which we release every week on our second Patreon. For Razorcliff Cove, nothing fits better than undead pirates with high mobility and extraordinary talents, perfect for this versatile map.

THE SKELETAL SWASHBUCKLER

Life at sea is perilous and offers myriad ways to meet an untimely demise — be it disease, violence, or the raw brutality of the elements. Yet, amidst this danger, sailors have discovered diverse means to transcend mortality, seldom by choice. Ancient curses, bonds to captain, crew, and vessel transcending death, or the mystical sway of natural forces all ensure a sailor’s journey sometimes doesn’t conclude with death. The Skeletal Swashbucklers are undead mariners who defy decay, their bleached bones pulsating with a lingering thrill for adventure and peril, refusing to succumb to mere oblivion.

ABILITIES

The Skeletal Swashbuckler is a nimble and agile adversary, designed to add flair and dynamism to low-level combat encounters. It thrives in the midst of enemies, gaining momentum and taking advantage of daring maneuvers. In addition, the Risk Dice mechanic allows the DM to have a bit of fun as well, as the Swashbucklers become more powerful when performing daring acts of bravado.

INSTALLATION

• Unzip the files to FoundryVTT / data / beneos_assets / beneos_tokens / TOKEN FOLDER and rebuild the compendiums in Foundry. We have a video that explains everything in detail, it's really simple. TO THE VIDEO
