That's right. It's the E30! Finally!

Meet project Marbais: 1983 E30 320i with a 5-speed manual, finished in delphine metallic with Sport seats and M-tech steering wheel. Lovely 2-door coupe!

Car is located in Belgium, Sébastien who's a Patreon on here sent me an email some time ago and made this happen. The car is from his godfather Michael who, if I understood correctly, owned the car since new! It has a lovely story behind it, it was well used by him and his wife as a daily and then on rallies across Europe. I'll talk about this more in the video.

The first few pictures might seem like the car is in mint condition, well it was 10 years ago but it's been off the road since then, though still runs and drives. They want to send it to a good home and I'm super excited about it. My first E30! I always wanted one and once I heard the whole story that comes with this 320i, I immediately knew it was the right one.

Tomorrow morning, I'm hoping with my girlfriend in project Cologne and driving to Marbais to meet Sébastien and Michael and see this beautiful classic E30. After that, I'm heading to Gent to meet another lovely subscriber that's donating Recaro seats and a 3-spoke steering wheel for Project Castellón, E21. Pretty amazing.
I was planning to take project Raleigh on this trip (it's around 1000 km whole trip), but Recaro seats are too big and can't fit in the E60 so Touring is jumping into action.

Stay frosty, more updates and video coming soon!

Love the E30! Was hoping that was your next project!

Uh that's cool, but with the amount of projects you now have it looks like your gonna need a second pair of hands

It looks great! Can't wait to hear the story. Are you planning on keeping this one? And if so, are you keeping it completely stock or are you going to restomod it a bit?

That's an great color, nice catch. If you ever in need of something for the E30 I have someone local that specialises in them and has a lot of spare parts. Also for the e32, e34 and e28

Love the colour and am looking forward to the backstory. Too bad about that door damage!

I've done so much work on various e30's(detailing,complete restorations, concourse preps) I started getting a bit fed up of seeing them🤣🤣. I've driven a chrome bumper 325i coupe on a 1400km trip, which was interesting to say the most. This example you're going to see is a stunning colour. They're simple to work on,and parts are readily available for most models.(Patreon needs to let us share pics in the comments)All the best with this

Wow. My first E30 320i was a 1987 model finished in Lachs Silver with anthracite cloth interior. The early 320 had velour seats as can be seen on your model. It changed to a hounds tooth check in 1986 model year. They are tail happy in the wet, but a sweet and gorgeous 140-150 bhp took mine up to an indicated 129 mph sometime in the late 80’s (Germany of course..) when new. Those sports seats and mtech wheel are fantastic and make that car feel so much more sporty. Quite expensive options when new. Lots of people had sports or mtech suspension fitted with those options so might be worth checking the vin number to see if it had that as well. Dolphin Grey was also the first colour I had on my 325i Sport in 1989… Fabulous car!

Gent of all places, if my M635CSi would have been on the road, I would have loved to say hi! Another awesome project!

Thanks for everything Sreten, meet you in person tomorow, but, for all readers here, i can allready tell that this guy is awsome! Can't wait! Share his chanel to your contacts and support him, he deserve it! He's too modest but he's one good guy and if BMW came to him, it's the best reward possible!

Are the recaros period correct? Might be worth finding some replica green fabric, and have them retrimmed. A top of the line e21 definitely deserves a cool interior 👍

Which project is next? This or the E21? Both look like a lot of fun.

Yeahh!!!!

I'm glad I'm part of this community and your journey through the world of BMW masterpieces

The rear suspension with the semi-trailing arms will create oversteer on hard cornering. Beware. Not as bad as on the E21, but a problem.

Oh man! Project Castellon, Karlsruhe, Skövde, now Marbais .... this is going to be great! The new workshop definitely comes in handy! Can't wait to see all the different underfloors of old neglected BMW's :D

Definitely one of my favourite cars. I've owned two 320i's and they are so easy to work on.

Very nice find Sreten, and it appears to be a slick-top, too.

Elegant design, classic BMW looks.

The photo of damaged driver side door happened while you were inspecting the car ? Breaks my heart, as I'm sure it did yours.

Anonymous

Nope', it was done a long time ago, those pictures are those i sent to Sreten before he came yesterday to see the car in person

So relieved to hear. I did the same to my fathers car many years ago. Thanks
