Howdy! Here's a quick video on the Highline E32 that was gifted to me by the subscriber. It's in really bad shape, but it won't be crushed or used for parts. One day I'll come back to it.

In other news, E39 M5 is back in the rotation and there we'll be a yearly service video soon.

I Got a Free, Neglected & Rare V12 BMW E32 750iL Highline

A very nice subscriber from the Netherlands generously decided to give me his old car. It's in rough shape and hasn't run in several years, but it's a very rare and sought-after Highline model of the E32 750iL. The highest optioned and most expensive 7 series of the early '90s, equipped with rear climate controls, picnic tables, heated & electric rear seats and a fridge among other things. Is it worth saving though? Just in time for Friday night! Thanks for sharing!

I just want to give you some perspective, from someone who lives in northern Europe were the winters are long and the roads are properly salted. As far as I could tell on the video, MOST of the rust on this one is pretty superficial. Depending on how far you want to go, you could probably get away with wirebrushing and painting it. Up here, a car like this would be considered relatively rust free. The jacking points might require some welding, but considering how big your channel is starting to become I wouldn't be suprised if some follower would be happy to weld it up for you for a small amount or a few beers. And if this is considered badly rusted, I seriously want to start buying my cars in Germany, haha!

That's not rusty, by norwegian standards that is close to mint... You will need to weld in new jack mounts, where 2 are not available from BMW anymore... So you might want to consider "converting" to E39/9 since that is just a reinforcement with slot in the rocker... That wet interior and the mold... That is a completely different problem...

Wow, what a car! Also congrats on reaching 200k subscribers! Reputation starting to spread! Seeing articles online about your channel and seeing other content creators comment about your work is cool to see! P.S. you talking about tropical islands and saying aloha is making me miss living in Hawaii! lol

Great great Content. And yes: Get Larry to clean the mold :)

It crossed my mind, but I kinda want to keep that one as original as possible. Plus, swapping the stuff in the rear is a big job as it requires a 2nd alternator to power up all of that stuff.

I know that for some this would be considered nothing, but any rust for me just makes me not want to work on that car. With rust, it's always worse than it looks, only once you dig in you can get the big picture. Jacking points def need doing and wouldn't pass TUV otherwise. Give the rust underneath and on the body panels, it needs a complete strip or different chassis. Haha, all German cars are like this which is why I avoid them and go to sunny Spain instead. :)

Lol, for me it's as bad as it gets, but I guess for an experienced welder might not be a big deal.

I hope you have somewhere to store it under cover. Dehumidifier inside? I look forward to future episodes with this car.

Amazing car! Hope the channel will grow enough so you can fix it! Im doing my part!!

We need to get BMW classics attention to your channel.Imagine them offering some form of aid to get a car like this restored to its former glory. Congrats on reaching 200k subs.I punt your channel to all my BMW crazy buddies.

I use to live in Houston, Texas where heat and humidity would really have done a number on that car. It would be awesome to see this one restored but not if it takes way more to restore than you can recover after the fact.
