I got a system up to allow witches (and vampire witches) to use the seance table to perform rituals. The main interaction is already done, I need ideas for the effects the rituals could have. The rituals will require a minimum of 3 witches, also, I can target all the sims instanced by the game (everyone present on the lot) with them. I'll pick 9 (3 for each school) and they must be doable so nothing the game doesn't allow me to do.

Freezing and transforming are quite easy, but I was up for something more powerful.

Something that summons the awful holiday gnomes if you mess up... But actual suggestions: maybe play with the plantsim half life-stage? Maybe summon the earthquake or volcano effect from the lot traits?

Ooo! Could curse (or I guess bless) a sim/sims with the celebrity quirks. Temporarily change a neighborhood's eco level? Give the casters access to a new spell (like one that let's them turn sims into plantsims) for an amount of time?

Here some ideas : Spell to turn another sim into an occult, a spell to summon a specific ghost ( not a random one like in game) , a spell that can curse a sim ( the curse from realm of magic, but maybe they work only on spallcaster) , a spell that can force or delete relationship between 2 sims, a spell to summon a person in the lot, a killing spell ( maybe something u have not still implemented with your others mod) , a spell to modify the eco footprint of the area, a spell to make someone a complete servant forever until released,

Maybe something like an amnesia spell (erase all skills, relationships, etc) or even a "time travel" spell that would actually just result in the same as above plus randomizing new skills and relationships with those on-lot, and then a little moodlet like, "Somethings feels different" and the reason is "Altering the Past." Maybe "open portal to other world" and it takes them to a hidden lot? You do amazing work, I hope my ideas can be useful!

Summon Dæmon - summons a random (or stray?) cat/dog that would be a "perfect" familiar for a sim, Healing spells for sickness/injury/and or /exhaustion, Summoning a sim (summon cattle for vampires?), group transportation?, protection spell to prevent death when dueling (immortal trait buff with a timer?), Lot/House Perfection spell (cleans/repairs/dusts/ect everything - can also do the reverse for mischief spell - make everything broken and gross... I'm thinking harvest gnome powers here...) Share knowledge (can teach a spell one spellcaster knows to the other spellcasters participating) Just throwing stuff out here, and I'm sorry because I have no idea if they are even possible. lol Would also be cool if you could make a sim a spellcaster this way. It would be a better initiation ceremony that going to magic HQ and doing a gathering quest. xD

Spell to summon a rich husband, spell to summon(all)familiars, spell to kill selected sims, spell to change selected sims(as if you were changing them in CAS), spell to learn specific spells, house on lockdown spell, fire protection spell, miscarriage spell(I know that means dead babies, sue me), fertility spell. On a side, the Ars Goetia mod is in need of an update.

I'm trying to think of some ideas that haven't already been done somewhere else in game. Mischief spell - have all pregnant women on the lot have their babies assigned a random occult. Untamed - become grim and kill one sim, effects lasts a few hours, Practical - clean and fix everything on lot, including living creatures (all sims hygiene maxed)

I can't test if there are pregnant women on the loot, too specific... and I already did something like grim in black magic, and a spell to clean everything in the other ritual mod

Maybe removing Occult status from a sim. So if a sim is a Vampire, they could cure them or remove their powers for a certain amount of time. Maybe they could turn them into an Occult and even put a time limit on it. Would be great for storytelling purposes. Or maybe remove skills, like vampires have a skill to be able to be in the sun, or turn into bats etc, that could be removed

maybe possession, ordering spirits to possess a sim of your choice . Also to be about to exorcise spirits from sims
