New ace/aro patron here. Definitely excited to see a deep dive on this, so much of the stuff I’ve seen or read is the same kind of cursory introduction to the concept.

Looking forward to listening to this episode. My working hypothesis is that asexuality is a waypoint for some people who have had sexual or relationship trauma because it takes certain activities categorically off the table.
