I already know the boys are gonna be furious this episode, can’t wait to watch! Besides that one episode in season 2 where Rex meets the Deserter, I consider this arc to be the true start of the Clones’ collective arc in the Star Wars universe. It’s where they first really come to terms with their status as individual living beings, as well as the fact that the galaxy will never treat them as such

URMOTHER

This arc was inspired by the Vietnam war and how young drafters were put through hell to serve bloodthirsty commanders. They showed the brutality in the context of a pg cartoon so well

Waxer😭😭😭

I still remember the Waxer and boil episode with the twilek girl🥲

This is an amazing story arc and my 2nd favorite arc because of how it helps flesh out the backstory of the clones existing in this era of war. It really shows how awfully they are treated or how easily their sacrifices are overlooked by many in the Republic. We often get to see the respect they receive from Anakin, Ashoka and Obi-wan but there are billions of others who either pay no mind to their struggles and the moral implications of their continued "production" or in some cases openly despise the clones for various reasons. And despite this being a brilliant story it's still only my 2nd favorite following my FAVORITE story arc which I'm happy to say is the very next arc we're about to see. Can't wait! 😁

I noticed the Google Doc hasn't been updated in a while. I hope it can get an update soon, I enjoyed following the progress through the spreadsheet.

Will try to update it within the next week. Been super busy recently

I have been noticing this too for a while and I keep wondering where you are in Clone Wars

Wayleran

Jeez when you put it like that?! But seriously yeah because of the writing and development of the big trio. And the brutality was shocking for me when I saw this arc. Even though we've seen some truly awful stuff in the series up to this point, what happens in this arc is on another level. Also it shows some of the darker corners of the galaxy and how personal it becomes for Anakin, Ashoka and Obi-wan.

I actually appreciated the brutality. I’m glad they didn’t shy away from it even though I have to wonder where the network’s S&P people were for that arc.

Wayleran

Yeah exactly. When I first saw it there were points where I thought "how are they getting away with this in an animated series marketed to kids or at least family friendly?" 😀That's why it's my favorite. All three characters really go to extremes and their notions of what they're fighting for are put to the test.

seymouRAID

What happened to the clone wars reactions?

This is the only Patreon I’ve ever subscribed to and it’s because I found out you guys already watched this arc months ago. I’ve been enjoying rewatching this series with y’all on YouTube. Can’t wait to get caught up
