GREETINGS----

TrueAnon here...we have a new thing to show you....this is the trailer for an upcoming five-part podcast series called Keep The Dream Alive. The series tells the story of a legendary San Francisco recording studio called Tiny Telephone through it's founder, John Vanderslice, and the voices and music of the bands that recorded there.

It's not just for indie rock types though; in the life and death of this studio we find all the joy and sorrow of the working musician, the tension between art and commerce, the love and loss that's part of being a human being. There is also a bunch of songs by bands like Sleater Kinney, mountain Goats, Deerhoof, and a bunch more. So even if you just like slap shot or Aphex Twin you should listen to this.

Series starts coming out Feb 2nd

You all better not have been running an op on my man Vanderslice all these years. ❤️ (can’t wait for this)

If you have a line to JV could you ask him to figure out a way to get Moon Colony Bloodbath onto Spotify. I had the MP3s on a little shitty mp3 player sometime around 2010 but now it's lost to the sands of time.

Proud of you guys. This looks great. Very kinetic trailer. Communicates a lot while also being pretty minimalist. Excited for it to start!

Hey, HUNK (YC); so excited about this!!

This is so fucking cool and I'm so excited you guys are doing this. Also JD on TrueAnon I can't even believe my interests are intersecting like this

The band or the movie? Lol. No matter how I love most Slapshot releases, not sure Liz and Brace would want to talk about a Boston hardcore band with a singer that's a notorious (non-fascist/nazi) skinhead...who redeems himself a lot from his nationalism with songs like "Shoot Charlton Heston".
