May Dormitory Diary Entry - Kuroda (Patreon)

Hello! It's Kuroda here with my May dorm diary entry.

Today marks the last day of Golden Week. I returned to my hometown and caught up with friends from university and childhood buddies I hadn't seen for a while. The whole trip was basically just me catching up with people, so there wasn't much downtime. Regardless, it was a good refresher.

On the work front, I received some beneficial advice regarding the value of perspective drawing and envisioning how my cuts will be used later in the development pipeline. I’ve been seeking out advice from more people than my usual go-to’s; One of them has made me aware of different camera perspectives – It’s fascinating to see how different everyone’s drawing style is. I’m learning that there doesn’t seem to be a definite “right” way to draw. Work resumes tomorrow. I can’t wait to ask for more feedback so I can develop my own style.

5月の寮生日記です。

今日はゴールデンウィーク最終日ですね。

私は実家に帰省していました。久しぶりに帰るので大学時代の友人や幼なじみと会い今まで会えていなかった分たくさん話をしました。いろんな人と会う予定を詰め込んでしまってゆっくりはできなかったのですがリフレッシュはできたと思います。

仕事の方は色んな方の考えや自分が担当したカットがどのようになるか知っておいた方が良いと言うアドバイスをいただきました。

いつもみていただいている先輩以外にもみてもらいアドバイスをもらったり撮影でどのようになっているかをみせてもらっています。

線の描き方がかなり皆さん異なっていて正解というものがないんだなと感じました。

明日から仕事が再開します。かっこよく描けるようにたくさん研究して自分のやり方をみつけたいと思います。
