May Dormitory Diary Entry - Watanabe (Patreon)

This is my dormitory diary entry for May. As the weather has warmed up recently, I've switched out my wardrobe. It's still a bit too chilly for short sleeves yet too warm for long sleeves, making my clothing choices an unexpected battle. 

I wish the season would just make up its mind already so I can do the same.

It's almost a month since I started my job as an animation supervisor. I find myself mostly working on turning animations recently. The initial drafts of each cut almost always need adjustments, as is common when working on frames that weren't created domestically. I also have to include references when submitting retakes to ensure corrections are made, so I try to fix whatever I can on my own. It takes a considerable amount of time, which can be overwhelming. 

For now, I'm thankful to have the leeway to make these corrections, but if we get any busier during future episodes...oh boy. 

My goal for this month is to finish checking the episodes I’m responsible for!

5月の寮生日記を投稿します。

最近暑くなってきたので、衣替えをしました。半袖を着るにはまだ少し肌寒く、冬物の長袖を着るには暑いので服選びが難しいです。着る服がない季節を早く乗り切りたい…。

動検の仕事を始めて1ヶ月が経とうとしています。最近は振り向きの中割りをよく描いています。国内動仕ではない場合、デッサン割はほぼ崩れるからです。リテイクで出す場合も参考を入れないといけないので（そうしないと作画が直らないため）、自分で修正できるところは直してます。ただ、普通に時間がかかるので大変です。今は時間に余裕があるので修正出来ていますが、後の話数のことを考えると不安になります。とりあえず、今月中に担当話数のチェックを終わらせることを目標に頑張ります！
