Hi everyone!
After three months of hard work I'm pleased to release and showcase a brand new set of features for the Bindmancer: The Camp Feature.
You can download and play the newest version here!
This new feature set includes:
Revisions to how resources are collected in the dungeon. You now collect Treasure, Materials, and Essence to spend at the Camp.
In-Dungeon difficulty has been increased through potions and health pickups are exceptionally rare to find in the dungeon itself. And your health persists between dungeon floors. You need to buy potions now.
At the end of each dungeon floor you're given a readout showing how you performed.
If you get a game over. 30% of your banked resources are lost.
You can now enter into your home base "Camp" between the floors of the dungeon.
At the Camp you can:
View the gallery
Purchase Items
Upgrade the Bindmancers Clothing and Skills
Upgrade the Camp and its vendors.
Recover your willpower back to full.
Other Features:
There are new items like the trap-bypasser which allows you to bypass traps you get into by pressing the "4' key.
Potions of various potency can be used with the 1-3 keys. As long as there's willpower (Health) needing to be recovered.
UI for the dungeon has revamped to showcase the new resources.
The gallery and upgrade screens have been removed from the dungeon and now exist at the camp.
The Camp improves as you upgrade it.
There's now a written notice at the title screen to guide those who have upgraded via the demo on how to access the full game.
What's Next?
There's still more to do with the Camp Feature Set overall to continue to make the new feature fun to play. Although we're now past the massive 3-month development hump and updates can now resume to at least once per month!
