Nice chapter thanks ! But damn you for not telling the class name ! :D

Hm... Since single-handedly killing an Essence Monster is an established prerequisite for a Class, and prerequisites for Classes are unknown until you qualify, Rain ought to set a goal for himself to kill a low-level Essence Monster single-handedly, just in case it turns out to be useful when he hits level 25. (Yes, he'll have to kill one anyway, to level, but what are the odds of getting 100% contribution on that one?) How common are Dungeons? It might be worth keeping this one alive and harvesting it every few months.

Thank you for the chapter, the best one in a while i think

maybe when his soul strain is gone he will be able to force the system to give him hints? if he finds out from val how he knew about his class requirements anyway

Is it me being confused or "He followed in Carten’s wake as best as he could", should be "he followed in Jamuses" since previous sentence tells that Carten was running almost as fast as super human speed of Amelia and Rain could barely hobble along?

Damn Loot Cliiiiiiiif.

So I wonder if you need contribution in order to raise your level cap. Obviously, a level five is too low to matter for anyone on the party, but since the entire party got credit despite only Val contributing I'm wondering if contribution actually matters.

They aren’t following directly behind but instead following the aftermath of his passage, hence “Carten’s wake” rather than Carten himself.

> but he had no idea long it would take how long it would take > This is kind of a backwater, How does he know this? He only knows that the place is militarily weak compared to the empire, not the strength of the adventurers > The infuriating drip of water was back Why is it infuriating? He heard it once back when he first entered the maze, but there were no mentions of it afterwards

John

Anyway, been enjoying catching up, enough so that I decided I might as well chip in a dollar. Honetly man, you need to raise that price lol. It's way too cheap for this much stuff

Garrett

He knows it's a backwater because it's an isolated city-state of no geographical importance and low military power with no unique exports that he has ever heard of. The water drip was implied to be constant which is more than enough to be infuriating.

Eh. I think it's working well. The minimum is $1 but there's an extra $400 on top of the 600 patrons giving money a month if they all only did $1. They might wanna rework it a LITTLE in the future but having such a low bar brings in a lot more people. Especially for a fiction that's (more or less) just starting out.
