2016 in the rear-view (Patreon)

 Hi guys, just wanted to reflect on how this year has gone for us here on Patreon.  

This year alone, we completed 24 Sketch Factory Images -  Game Over (Dragon), Post-Ogre, Arcobaleno, Keys and Locks, Maiden, Raquel (POV), Fruit Shaped, Look Ma (Isabella), Chomp Chomp, Futa Dom, Dog Days, Succutop, Dog Lover, Transform, Free Will, Humans Need Boy-Love Too (Jewel), Tug of War, Little Miss Know-it-All, Translucent Skirt, Falling for the Trap, Yogurt Cannon, Facefook, Continue, and finally, Filibusted, our latest adventure in butt plugs and cum cocktails.

That makes up half of our updates for the year, the other half one off ideas, story chapters, and, of course, ToA characters.  Speaking of story chapters, each of the Big Three, Raquel, Convallaria, and Jewel received updates this year, along with a few new, fresh stories, including the Date Night series, our personal favorite.  

In February, we launched our picarto accounts, and we've been streaming pretty consistently ever since, which led to us also launching a discord server, so more than ever we're in contact with you guys. 

The biggest new thing for 2016, obviously, was the beginning of development for Tales of Androgyny, originally the unnamed Trap RPG, which had some groundwork laid from some earlier projects starting early in the year, but which didn't begin official development until early September, when Maj took two weeks off from work to build out a prototype and participate in the lewd game jam on itch.io.  Since then, in a scant 4 months, we've got ToA up and running and playable and deployable, and while it still needs major build-out in terms of mechanics and systems, we've got a good system in place for including new features, new creatures, and new floppy dongs.  2017 is looking like it's going to be a great year for ToA, and there's no way that'd be the case if weren't for all your support, feedback, and enthusiasm - so, and we'll be saying this a lot - thank you.

We've crossed two milestones this year - the first, $1000, was zig-zagged a bit throughout the year, as fradulent pledges were still a pretty big thing on Patreon early in the year, but we're now clearly past it now, and ToA is the result.  The second, $1500, was just recently crossed, and we expected a similar zig-zagging, but that simply wasn't the case.  We're still not sure if we're going to go ahead with the original plan and do sound contracting or if y'all would prefer we let democracy do its magic, but either way, it's a new milestone, and that means only good things for ToA's continued development.  

We started 2016 with $1,060.00 pledged by 174 patrons.  We're ending 2016 with $2,020.00 pledged by 393 patrons - just about doubling both, and the bulk of that has come in the last two months, as Tales of Androgyny has become more visible.  

We've also started to see a bit more of a community forming here on this page and discord, and we'd like to see more of that - it's really important to us to hear what you're thinking and what you'd like to see, and especially if you see things that seem wrong.  Again, thanks for everyone who's shown us your support, and Happy New Year!   I'd say see you in 2017, but we've still got one more post to go.  :D
