March 2021 Game Patch + general Info (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I. Mod Status with March 2021 EA game update / Patch

I am happy to report that my mods are still perfectly fine with the new game update of March 23, 2021 (yesterday).

If you notice any issue with any of my mods, please let me know; you can contact me on Discord, here in comments or messages, or through the contact form on my website.

II. The March schedule

The March schedule I had announced a while in big part back fell apart due to various things I will mention to Patrons soon in another post; I am however STILL hoping to release adoption module this month in as complete a form as possible, albeit at the very very end of March, and trying my best for that result!

Hi, I have the woohoo wellness mod, and whenever I am a surrogate for someone else. The baby will not age. No matter how long I play the current save file. Any advice?

What do you mean it will not age? The baby gets born and you send it away to the other family and then it doesn't age?

Yes. It still sits in my friendships and stays as a baby. If I visit the family, it’s still a baby. Never ages

And your settings for NPC aging would make it so that it should age? Any aging settings modified through MCCC? If you're on long lifespan it would take 12ish days for a baby to age, if you have aging off for certain type of Sims that could participate too, just trying to eliminate some possibilities here, as the baby is just a standard normal baby :)

I have no aging modifications set, everything is standard. I’ll play around with it but wasn’t sure if it was a weird little kink in the mod. Could be user error 😂 thanks for responding so fast!

I honestly don't know since aging is always on off for everyone in my game haha. Can you tell me you exact aging settings in game? So I can put them in my game to test it out. The baby really should just be a normal baby and function normally, so let's see if something is glitched or not

Auto age for played and unplayed sims are both on yes, and lifespan is normal

Is there any way for your mod + LittleMsSam's pregnancy overhaul to work together? I hate that pregnancy walk so much 😭😩

That part is not compatible because LMS's is an override of pregnancy moodlets and my mod uses its own. Once my mod has more parts released, there will be a version choice to not have the walk style for pregnancy. It's basically removing one line of code in each pregnancy moodlets and if you were willing to look in doing it yourself for now I can point you to where it is.

I don't know if this is just me, but i noticed that my teenagers can no longer get pregnant from woohoo. Im playing a historical game and Its becoming quite annoying as i like the chances of not getting pregnant, but no mater how many times i have her woohoo she doesn't conseive. i want her to have her second kid (i cheated the first pregnancy but its not letting me with the second because its a different father) before her daughter ages up. Again, this could be just a me problem but if you could look into it?

LMS Pregnancy overhaul, MCCC, LMS no gender chance, LMS ultrasounds, LMS miscarriage and abortion, Wonderful Whims, and i think that's it its a lot but i just wanted to make sure as im not a modder and don't know exactly what files are being manipulated. I had all the settings the same before the update and it was working, so any of them could be the issue im sure

No worries, we'll figure it out I'm sure. Let's try and do some elimination. Did you get wonderful whims recently / did teen pregnancy work before you installed it? Imo that could potentially be the problem depending on settings, then what about mccc, do you have Mc Woohoo and if so what are risk settings there?

LMS Pregnancy Overhaul removes the pregnancy walkstyle. If it doesn't rename the walkstyle package from walkstyley to walkstyle. I think she spelled it wrong and doesn't realize she has.

I noticed that teens can no longer have the relationship wellness option?

My teen Sims have all the options that they are supposed to. Also I've made no changes to this. Wonder what's going on with your game. Have you tried with several Sims?

I've noticed when my male has an affair with an NPC and she gets pregnant, there's no 'recently woohoo with' marked on them and the options under the Pregnancy and Family just show the generic options (like, there's no 'get married due to pregnancy' or whatever that option is called, or denying the baby is his)
