Lucky Paradox 0.8.3 - Alpha (Patreon)

This is the biggest update until now and a big test for Android too, since from now on it will be necessary to use Joiplay to enjoy Lucky Paradox on your phone, It will be like this from now on.

This has been the most difficult update so far, and much of the blame has been thanks to the Android port, But thanks to Joiplay it should be easier to move game saves (it used to be difficult thanks to Android security or nearly impossible).

I had to redo part of the game code to make it compatible, so the saves of the games created during version 0.8.2 are no longer compatible (the previous ones are, so the only thing you should lose is the introduction to the tournament).

A compressed version has been added, to use on Android in case you have little space available.

  • Optimizations done on the game code.
  • Changes on the code to make the pc version compatible with Joiplay.
  • Tons of New FanArts added to the Museum Gallery
  • 3 New Theme Songs.
  • Some typos and text has been fixed
  • More bugs have been fixed

Sadly no, version 0.8.2 was broken in the code as I pushed everything too far to make the Android version at the time, sorry for that :(

Thanks for that, it's been hell, I think it's best to use Joiplay from now on, otherwise I waste too much time adapting and redoing things over and over again, as what happened in this update :(

How do I get my saves if I've been only playing it on android?

I'm trying to use the save file from.8.0 is there any tips? I'm not familiar with using joiplay

What you need is to download the joiplay app and the joiplay Renpy plugin app too. Then once you have that download the pc version and unzip it. Open joiplay and click the + sign to add a new game and enter the required information. Then once that’s done it should work

I've got the game working but I can't seem to load the same game, it's like it doesn't recognize the file.
