Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox

Hey!!! First Sneak Peek of the year!!!

It's been a while since I last wrote a progress report, because I was working hard to finish the last update and deal with all the unforeseen issues that have been popping up.

But now let's get to the details!

Firstly, I want to mention that the results of the last survey have been totally unexpected for me, although I think I was lucky this time, since I had to make many changes in the code between version 8.2 and 8.3, so the games saved during 8.2 have been damaged because of this (Don't worry, this only affects version 8.2, previous games are still compatible).

The code changes have been largely due to all the experiments I've been doing these last weeks to adapt the Android version, attempts that have generated me a huge frustration and has lengthened the development of version 8.3 much more than I had planned.

I must admit that trying to compress all the content of Lucky Paradox in less than 2 GB is impossible at this point, I think I have already made all possible attempts and if I keep insisting with this it will only cause delays in the development of the story and the game in general.

In the end, I have decided to make the necessary changes to make version 8.3 onwards compatible with Joiplay, although as I mentioned before, every save slot that was saved in the version 0.8.2 it’s corrupted (sorry).

Speaking of Joiplay version, this includes a number of advantages compared to the original Android version, one of these is the easy manipulation of game saves, as in the Android version it was tremendously difficult to use a previous game save in new versions of Lucky Paradox. With Joiplay it is enough to copy and paste the file, since it is a Windows version emulated on Android, and the application is not blocked, making it difficult to preserve saves.

As for the advances in content, these last weeks I was working on the renders of version 8.3, which were quite a lot, as well as in the old code of the game, I have even made improvements in old code that should help the performance of the game on devices with fewer resources. I have also included variations for Prim and Layla in the gallery, for the Growth potion and the Shrink potion.

Being a more monotonous work, so to speak, I didn't think it was necessary to make a progress report until now, as it would be too repetitive hahaha

As version 8.3 has already been finished (although only available for Patreons at the moment), I have already started the development of version 8.4.

This time version 8.4 will be much more contained than the previous two versions, as they were too big, which made them very difficult to develop.

I must admit that I like to make longer events, as they can give a more significant progress to the story in a shorter amount of time, as opposed to the shorter events of the beginning of the game.

It's a good base to work from now on.

More fan arts have been added to the museum!

Right now, I'm working on new content for Charlotte and Sophia, which will open a new character arc for both girls, as has been the trend in this update cycle, which has already started a new arc for Yui, Prim and Layla. In addition, I plan to include certain improvements in the game to communicate to the player more accurately when they have made progress in the main story, and where exactly in each girl's story they are at any given moment.

More details about this in the next progress report, as all the ideas are more developed :)

I hope you like the news and as always, I'll be attentive to your opinions!

I send you a hug from afar and wish you a great week.

And see you soon with more news!
