Hello Travellers! 

We are starting March off strong with the first in a series of monthly adventures that will be written by DMDave and feature my maps, as well as artwork by other creators. This first adventure set will be free to all Patrons, but moving forward they will be a special reward for my new $3 Tribune Tier, so if you like what you see  please consider increasing your pledge.

As well as the adventure module, each month I will create additional artwork for you, such as player handouts, map variants or even completely new maps when applicable, and creature or player tokens that are featured in the adventure.

This adventure has been created to be run as either a continuation of Dave's ongoing 'Hand of the Eight' series, or as a standalone adventure that you can weave into your own narrative. The module contains extensive notes on how to do either. It uses the maps from my 'Knight at The Museum' set.

The adventure is designed for three to five 5th- 10th level characters and is optimized for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 5. Characters outside this level range cannot participate in this adventure. This adventure occurs in the town of Greatwell, located in The Summer Land of Omeria. 

Background

Five years ago, a party of adventurers destroyed THE TOWER OF BURSHAI, ending the effect of a centuries-long mirage arcane spell cast over large swaths of CENTRAL OMERIA. With the illusion dispelled, large deposits of EMERALD ODONBURGITE appeared all across the WEYSEVAIN COAST and THE DESOLATION DITIMAYA. The DINZERS OF ODONBURG, a powerful nation of spellcasters, blamed the event on a terrorist organization and promised to help "clean it up." Most of the Central Omerian nations agreed with the Dinzers' claim and vowed to stay out of their way. However, the city-state of ARRUQUETTA opposed the Dinzer's operation in Central Omeria, accusing the Dinzers of trying to monopolize the valuable material. Within a month, war broke out between the two nations. Soon, other nations joined in and now all of Omeria is locked in THE EMERALD WAR. Many Omerians believe that the Emerald War will be what leads Omeria and all of Casar to destruction, as foretold in THE HAND OF THE EIGHT PROPHECY. 

As the battles rage on, the characters are invited to GREATWELL in THE SUMMER LAND. There, they will meet the warlock VADRIKEN who claims to have discovered a way to stop the war, and potentially the end of the world.
