Hello Travellers!

I am very excited to announce the new Tile Configurator by Roll For Initiative

This web and mobile tool allows you to quickly create a small room or series of interconnecting rooms with props from Roll For Initiative and Tom Cartos (that's me!) You can then easily export the image for print or use in your VTT program of choice.

Example of inter-connected rooms

At the moment this is a 'public beta' stage of the project, with lots of new features to be added in the near future. There are already a number of free features that everyone can use (including all of the 'Basic Assets' and 'Dungeon Delver' assets from my asset packs).

Example of rooms using props from myself and Roll For Initiative

For access to all of the features, such as additional base textures, night mode, special effects and extras props and assets, you will need to be a Patron of Roll For Initiative. You can do so for as little as $1. Have a look at what he has to offer here: https://www.patreon.com/initiative

I will be working with Roll For Initiative to add in my asset packs, which will be available for anyone at my $2 Tier or above, and other map creators will also be adding props in the future.

Check out Roll For Initiatives post HERE for more details. Leave any feedback you have in the comments below, or on his post.

Great Collaboration... am guessing the assets are your part in it?

Yeah, this is very much Roll For Initiatives project. I'm just supplying some artwork.

So I'm playing with the tool, what did you use to connect the rooms?

tomcartos

Hi Alex, Roll For Initiative created the image previews. I just passed your question on to him and this was his response: 'Both Photoshop and VTT works fine [to connect the tiles]. That example is in photoshop with snap turned on. My website can't connect them yet, but it's a feature more people want.. Roll20 has snap to grid features, so importing them there should work fine :) I'll create a video or two for the website.'
