Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing fantastic.

This week should be a video all about Gwen Stacy. Actually, a very specific part about Gwen. It's an investigation trying to confirm a very simple statement: Gwen Stacy was inspired by Stan Lee's wife, Joan.

You'd think that would be easy to address and it wouldn't immediately lead to a rabbit hole or three, but you'd be wrong. This was something I stumbled across while doing a previous video about Steve Ditko, which led to a ton of research and, after about three thousand words and a few dozen sources (all cited), I decided it might be a good topic for a video.

Hopefully y'all find it interesting to watch me obsessively try to confirm a piece of Gwen Stacy's history. It'll definitely give you insight into how compulsive I get when trying to find a source of information that is accurate.
