The recovery process of my tonsillectomy was filled with many unexpected turns this week. I thought that this would be the part where I'd see improvements and that I'd progressively get better, but that's not how it works apparently, or at leave not with my mouth. My days have been both every eventful and unexpected, but as you're reading this, I am getting better and I'm planning to keep it that way while slowly putting myself back to do some work. With that said, let me tell you about my week.

- Released my review of Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir, The Movie: At first, it seems pretty shocking that I was able to put out another review out this week, especially when I had to go through another operation. Well, as I mentioned in these blogs before, I actually created this review just before the TMNT: Mutant Mayhem one :P I was just lucky enough to find a cinema that was showing it just before it came out on Netflix. Anyways, as someone who's never seen the show before...I will admit that this seems like something that it'll mostly be fans that would appreciate this more than newcomers. I'll give it that the animation is fantastic and the team did a great job to give this an upgrade, but the rest just felt forgettably subpar. Not even the whole romance angle was much of a hook to me because I don't care that much for either Marinette or Adrien. I've seen fans of the show giving this more of an appreciation, and in that regard, it did do its job on that, but I don't think this film will do much to introduce newcomers to the franchise.

- The Chaotic Recovery Process from my Tonsillectomy: They say that 4-8 days after the surgery would be very tough because the scabs in my mouth would start to peel off, but I did not expect that it could also get out of hand. For several days, I was unable to sleep at night due to the pains in my mouth and complications that I will not get into (seriously, let's just say that the details are nasty). In fact, the complications were getting so bad that on two occasions, I had to go to the ER for the doctors to see if everything was okay and what needed fixing. The second time was even worse where the complications were uncontrollable and they had to immediately gave me a second operation to properly take care of them. As you're reading this, I think that actually helped me a lot and now I'm able to sleep at night and even my mouth feels better than it was before. As long as there's no more problems, I think I'll be fully healed later on next week.

- Slowly getting back to work: Despite everything that happened where my health when on the most insane roller coaster ride, I can start to feel some energy coming back to me, and with it, that urge to get back to work is starting to develop. This does not mean that I will quickly get back to AniMat mode hop directly back to my computer. My health is still top priority and I'll still next plenty of rest, but I am coming back slowly and only focusing on projects that doesn't require a lot of hard work, including writing this Blog. It will probably take a few more days before I fully get back to producing videos again, but I'm doing what I can to make myself better and getting myself back on the saddle.

And that was the latest chapter of my crazy tonsillectomy story. As much as I love crazy stories, I'm hoping that the worst is finally over with this one and that the recovery can go easy from here. I can't wait to get started on making videos again, but I'll be taking it one step at a time to ensure that, if my videos will be at their best, then I gotta be at my best too. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!
