The Sea Beast is Cool...But Suspiciously Familiar | An Action-Packed Movie Review

This high seas adventure has all the right materials to be the next big Netflix movie, but there's just one little weakness on this ship that might make this sink for some people.

I really had a great time with this movie. I wouldn’t say it’s the best animated film out there on Netflix but it does still work very well on its own. While I do agree the story is way to similar to How To Train Your Dragon, it does make up for it with some beautiful looking animation, awesome action scenes and pretty decent characters, so overall not as great as How To Train Your Dragon but still a great movie overall. Also at least we are still getting animated content from Netflix after all the stuff they've gone through especially with their stocks going down, especially since so far this year I would say the only thing that has kept Netflix a float was just Stranger Things season 4 and maybe Umbrella Academy season 3 but other than that, that’s pretty much it, but again at least we are still getting animated content from Netflix.

That good because I do believe it a good movie as well even though what going on over at Netflix is pretty much chaotic. I do like the animation, action scenes, some of the characters, voice acting such as Karl Urban from The Boys, creature designs, and good direction from Chris Williams as well. For criticisms, I do feel like I’m on your side as well with the weak writing hinders the movie down which the whole plot is basically How to Train Your Dragon meets King Kong and ends up feeling predictable. Other than that, it a good film but nothing anything special that I seen so far. I don’t have much anything else to say but it a good adventure that I don’t mind seeing it again.

Don’t forget Squid Game since that one was original show from Netflix that manage keep the company afloat as well.

Well, all I can say is, for his first animated film outside of Disney, it’s at least not a bad start. Sure, the film might not be all that spectacular but I’m sure Chris Williams will improve the further he goes with his next animated films.

Oh yeah I forgot about Squid Game that’s another major show Netflix has, they also have Cobra Kai with season 5 coming in September.

And I also think Shadow and Bone can be added to that if season 2 will be great as well just like season 1.
