Hey Patrons,

I've wanted to make a Wipeout 2097 doc for years and while we didn't hear back from many of the devs, I did record a fantastic interview with Tim " Cold Storage" Wright last year. Then a few months ago I decided I didn't want to sit on it any more and watched it back, and it was clear to me that there was enough here to talk about the parts of Wipeout that I find the most fascinating.

This documentary is a love letter to so many of my favorite parts of gaming; the Amiga demo scene, early 90s PlayStation Games, Psygnosis , dance music, and of course Wipeout 2097. Putting it together with Jeremy was a lot of fun too (these shades man). The whole idea was to create something that would evoke the same nostalgia you feel when booting up these classic games. I've re-watched this doc 4 times already so I'm hoping it works on you too.

Let us know what you think in the comments.

Danny

No ads for me! Had a weird issue with the video stopping to apparently buffer at several points, but it would never recover and I'd need to close and reopen to resume playback. It isn't happening with any other videos. Really enjoyed this documentary anyway - an excellent blend of nostalgia, insight and bangers. I hope Cold Storage does release his tracks!

That was a great interview, absolutely the right call to run it standalone.
