I need a skintone that says both cimmerian barbarian, and rumble in the jungle at the same time. Fleshtones are something I get asked about a lot and this video is the first step to understanding how I create skintones. There are so many on the market but you really only need 2 or 3 to work from. I hope it shines a light on creating skintones as well as understanding a more advanced approach to painting. Please let me know your thoughts and any questions in the comment section. I believe in you!

Colors Used:

-From P3, ordic olive, iridian flesh, exile blue, khador red base, and battlefield brown

-From Vallejo, buff, and black

MANN FLESHHHHHH. I don't have a better comment. I just kind of wanted to yell that. It was nice to see a tan skin tone. Something I will never achieve in real life.

Haha, I do say that a lot. It's fun being an orc. Quite often these models represent being with a dedication I don't have. Being jacked and tan is too much work.

Amazing - as always I should add ; For some reason it does not seem natural to use green in skin tones, but Conan looks awesome. Did you finally make a video somewhere of the skin tones of the princess as well ? Or perhaps of some of the other features ? Like the "furry boots" or his leather loin cloth ?
