well HELLO! Here is me and there are you!
So last time we spoke, I just made a film, and then I went to lie down for a little bit.
Since then, I have gotten back up, and my partner and I turned our shed into a STUDIO TYPE THING!

During my adult life, my workspace has mostly been limited to what I can fit on top of a desk. Shortly before starting this Patreon however, our spatial considerations changed, and we moved into a slightly larger rental in order to fit a desk AND a baby in the one place. And minus the baby's room, the room left for work still totals a desk. Inside, that is- but OUTSIDE, we now have A GREAT BIG SHED!!! A shed that isn't shared with other tenants, or full of the landlord's untouchable trash collection.

So since moving here, I've been very excited to utilize all this extra ground, to do all the cool animation stuff that requires physical space like stop motion and building sets and green screens and cameras. The trouble is, I had already started that FILM, the frog one, and that wasn't the right project to learn a bunch of new stuff. But now that's done, I'm very keen to stretch out my big long bones into the big spacious physical world and try out some new techniques in the new year!

Anyway, here is a video tour of the shed! I could have just posted some photos of it but there was all that green screen in there, and the whole point of green screen is you don't see it, so I got distracted making dumb things to key inside of it. When I said "try out some new techniques" I should clarify I did not mean this, this was a deeply strange thing to do and I promise the other things I make in the shed will be better than this.

That was a fun trip! Good to hear you had a nice long nap and have recharged. Looking forward to seeing what you do with stop motion and 3D stuff!

Your e-mail was the longest one I've read from start to finish in a long time, and I loved every second of it! I chuckled! And this video is indeed strange, but it's much better than a regular shed-tour.
