Milkshake Box and More Nice Buns! (Patreon)

Hey there, wonderful people!

People like variety in their burgers.  The moment the Nice Buns Burger Box was out there I was getting requests for more ingredients, so here are a few!  If you check out the photo above you'll see....

* Sauce!  Delicious, drippy sauce.

* Pickles!

* Beetroot.   Or maybe tomato.  Or a slice of anything, really, depending on what colour you print it.

* A taller threaded bun base to hold all the delicious ingredients.

But a burger clearly needs a shake to sit alongside, so there's now a matching Milkshake Box with screw-in straw!

Print Description

All these parts are single-material, regular mode prints that are assembled after printing!

Print Dimensions

The cup is 68mm x 68mm on the print bed and 90mm tall.

Supports Needed?

Not at all!  Designed for straightforward printing!

Scalability

This one should scale upwards quite well thanks to the coarse threading, and will scale down a little way before things start to get a bit tight.

Print Orientation

The cup prints right-way up, as does the lid, but the straw prints upside-down with the thread upwards, like so:

The new bits are at the front there!  The bun base prints right way up.  The sauce prints upside-down.  The beetroot and pickles can print either way up.

Further Thoughts

One of my favourite things in design is attempting to find the essential parts that give the impression of something, and this has been such a fun example of that!  You don't want to know how many versions of drippy sauce I tried before I was satisfied that it looked like a proper burger...
