Wellp, damsel-in-distress fans, once again I have a definite lack of finished-looking DiD content in the pipeline, as most of the material available for posting is of a literally if not figuratively "sketchy" bent. (No idea when the hell I'm gonna get around to working on those Rose & Lily: Flowers of Peril comic pages mentioned here previously.)

So, for a brief break from the DiD "sketchiness," I thought I'd delve back in time (and back in my PATREON STUFF folder) to a series of more developed-looking Clip Studio Paint art requests from the Biggest Spenders of the $20 tiers, with sketch sets dating back to those bygone days of 2020-21 yore.

Pretty sure these old images would've mostly been seen before by only the Biggest Spenders as part of their Monthly Exclusive Bonus Post dealie, though a few miiiight have appeared in $5-tier Distressed Damsels posts on occasion.

I'm honestly unsure as to whether or not many Bigger Spenders bother to comb back through the archives to see the Exclusive Bonus Posts, as I rarely see very many "likes" on older posts. (Yes, I'm aware that Patreon features more complex analytical tools to quantify Patron engagement in detail, but I've neither the time nor the energy nor the interest to actually use those tools.)

A few words:

I've already forgotten how I did those bunny girl stockings, TBH, which kinda obviates the usefulness of the CSP experiment. Still, a decent enough set, IMO.

Gotta say, text is one thing that the iOS art app Procreate was much better at handling. Of course, I've not opened up Procreate in a few years now, and have completely forgotten whatever the heck I learned about using it.

The poses on the right were photoreffed, so I managed to work at least a leeeetle bit of life drawing into the set.

A December 2020 set in the "6-panel fan art" format, which you still see used by artists online from time to time. Can be a tad boring unless the artist makes extra effort to do something innovative with the layout which, well, I didn't do here. OTOH, that panel of vtuber and KFP proprietor Kiara (or "Kiwawa," to quote her chat) in my old Dirty Pair costume design worked out quite nicely.

NEXT UP IN DISTRESSED DAMSELRY: Stand by for another installment of Imperiled Starflight Attendant Lily next week, DiD fans! (Could've posted that today, but haven't scanned the pieces yet.)

In a similar vein, as this month's Exclusive Bonus Post the Biggest Spenders of the $10 and $20 tiers can prrrrobably expect to see the rest of that early-2000s fantasy RPG story fragment with the unsubtly flirty elf and the highly contrived DiD scenario:

...which, shockingly enough, features actual toplessness(!), a rarity in these commissioned comics. Also, if I get the time (unlikely, I admit), I might work up a follow-up sketch for the story's FRPG couple.

NEXT UP ON THIS HERE PATREON: Not yet sure what the content will be, but you should see something on Friday, okay? Then, next week, stand by for every-weekday posts to finish off 2022, folks!

I had not expected cosplay Tenchou, but I'm happy to see it. She'd definitely go for it. And send anyone who criticized it to the Usual Room.

Kiyosa looked good in bunnygirl stockings, I must say. I enjoyed it back then and still enjoy it all now. ^_^

That Bettie Page Emp made me wonder, how often is Emp heading out to 'work' in the morning pulling on tattered pieces of her suit or is it always back together by morning?

"Kiwawa" just makes me think of the Wawa chain of convenience stores in my neck of the woods. Come to think of it, they did recently add chicken sandwiches, and might add fried chicken at some point to compete with their archrival Sheetz (famous for theirs). Wonder if they'd be interested in a collab with Kiara?

Also, the suit seems to effectively be part of Emp now, so as shown in Volume 11, she can regenerate the suit out of herself even if it's completely destroyed.

A sequence early on in vol.9 indicates the former is often the case: https://www.empoweredcomic.com/comic/volume-9-page-19

Haha my request for Civvie Emp! Right before you started spoiling us with Phoebe Weeby, as she's phonetically known as

Sepia Maplewood

For what it's worth, going through and seeing your old con sketches was a lot of fun. I liked virtually all of it even though I may have hit the button only a few times. It feels kinda weird to do that to stuff that was posted a long time ago. It feels a little like violating the old forum rules on necromancy. It's unclear on whether it's quality feedback at this point. "Engaged" or not though, I appreciate what you've done here in it's entirety.
