I can’t wait for your overall opinion on this part! I hope you haven’t payed to much attention to the majority of the JoJos community’s opinion on this part. There overall consensus is "it’s bad" which is farthest from the truth. A lot of interesting ideas and story telling are done in stone ocean, and can be very confusing at times. If you need help from the community or simply need to reread what’s going on to fully understand, than do it. It’s well worth it. I really enjoy your content and can’t wait for more!!!

That's the thing, a lot of anime fans seem to only look at the surface level and want things explained to them but Araki isn't that kind of author. Part 6 is extremely experimental in how it deals with the themes of JoJo's and requires actual critical thinking to fully understand what Araki was going for in this one. If you actually bother to look beyond the surface and into what Araki was actually going for you'll be rewarded with a way different experience and opinion about part 6. Imo part 6 is the most perfect in how it deals with Araki's crazy ideas from earlier parts especially the ending. Most fans just speed read it without bothering to actually process it and understand it and that's how we ended up here.

I'm not entirely sure who was the first but I do know that Arale from Akira Toriyama's Dr. Slump was a female lead way back in the 80's.

A lot of people in the English JoJo community think part 6 is bad but a lot of them don't understand the part at all. Like their understanding of what happened bears no relation to reality. ...JoJo fans can be really bad at, like, reading and thinking sometimes. 👀

I can’t wrap my head around how some people hate on part 6 as much as they do. It’s amazing, along with all the other parts..every part is awesome in its own way, the people that completely skip part 6 to get to part 7 are stupid.

A lot of people don't like part 6 because of various reasons : female lead, a certain event that happens, not paying attention while reading, rushing through it. Truth is, part 6 is just as good as any other part, people are just hating for no real reasons sometimes.

I literally once wrote a whole interpretation of the ending using the wiki and literal context of what happens and someone told me "too bad none of that is right you're giving Araki too much credit." I was like bruh this is literally all things that happened lol.
