There's definitely going to be more Killua and Hisoka coming up (and Kurapika, too)! The next two arcs will have a lot of world building, then it ramps up after those.

Hidoka failed last year because he killed an examiner. Gon wanted to get Hisoka's tag because that's what Gon would do. He won't choose the easy way and run away from a great chance to challenge himself. Hunters love excitement.

Funny you mentioned that you wondered where this anime will rank once you’re done with it. This anime jumped up to my #2 spot behind One Piece and only because it’s still not complete. If it were done, as much as I love One Piece, it might’ve jumped to #1. That’s how much I loved this show. I know One Piece isn’t done either, but it’s still going. We don’t even know if HxH will come back so it can be finished. So, I too am curious as to where all the shows you’re reacting to will rank once you’re done with them (or caught up in the case of One Piece).

Pretty sure Ruff is gonna need a change of trousers during some of these later arcs if he is already liking it this much. As far as recommendations, FMA: Brotherhood, Code Geass, Mob Pyscho 100, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, Stein's Gate. I don't think I recall hearing you ever mentioning already watching any of those at least, and they are some of my favorites as well. I don't think any of those even reach the 70 episode mark.

Ah! I love my favourite power duo. Hisoka and "Gittarackur" I just wish they had more screen time together. Still love them to bits. They are insane but still soo cute. XD

Hisoka is a very interesting and complex character, he loves to fight but he doesn't like to kill "unripe fruit" as he likes to call it. Even when they look soo tantalising. He is a character a lot of people love and hate, he is creepy, pervy yet adorable and sweet. X) Also, the first Manga chapter was released in 1998.

hisoka is not pervy, he loves fights, he lives for fights, he sets up fights years in advance and wants to pick "ripe fruit" at their peaks. Nothing sexual about it, regardless of what the commenters here will eventually say
