So, hmmmm. I don't like this one. I actually think I know why though. It's too dark and muddy, and there was a point in the production when it wasn't, so that means I just need to not do whatever it is that I did to make it this way. I still think I like the construction aspect of this style. It really helps me render at a more dynamic, energetic character. The whole process is smoother without needing to make an adequate line-art, then lay down all your flats, and then render all your shading over your flats, and then realizing some mistake you made all the way back from the line-art has just ruined your whole image.

More practice.

Oh Nadia was one of the first things I saw from you (back when I didn’t know you were an artist and I thought you were only a writer) do hope to see more of her

I mean how long did this pic at this level of detail / completion take you to do? I think it looks great for what it is

Awesome, if this style save that much time you can try to do it again, that is everything about Practice, I not think it was ruined, still more butt required, happy to see you hyped

I spent maybe an hour or a little more on it. Honestly, if I spent another hour with it, it might be better, but some steps aren't easy to undo with this process.

Personally I like it, but I can kinda see what you mean. But, every step is a lesson, and I'm really enjoying watching you experiment with different styles and methods.

I actually like this a lot! I think that the saturation of the flesh tones needs to be pumped up and it probably won't feel quite so muddy to you.
