Hello everyone! Rather than do another poll I wanted to get some general feedback on the kind of work I've been putting out and working towards. I want to make sure I'm making stuff that's:

1. Useful to the GameMaker and game development community

2. Helping get more people started with GameMaker

3. Living up to the expectations you had when you decided to support my work.

4. Is growing my own community, in order to help with 1-3.

So I've been making a wide variety of different videos to achieve these aims. Covering new GameMaker releases and updates, experimenting with some short form useful-tips styles content, thoroughly researched pieces like my recent resolution guide video, occasional live streams of my own game development process, my new turn based series (which is a *mega* project, that I really hope I don't burn out on!) and even some more general game development content like my "Become a game developer this weekend" video (which did extremely well!).

So if you have any feedback or suggestions on recent content, anything you feel is maybe neglected or you'd like to see more of, let me know!

I love your tutorial videos because you’re an excellent teacher, but I would really like to see a PokeyPoke Devlog series. Nothing in the weeds, just updates on or your development and design process. Think like what IDoZ did with Archvale. It doesn’t need to be too flashy or complicated. Just regular updates. You don’t need to show how you coded each system (though those are cool), I’m more thinking of development updates to reach even more people with the game, people who don’t necessarily use GameMaker or dev at all, and it could be added inspiration/motivation or just encouraging for us to see a GameMaker dev whose work we all admire have an awesome launch.

That's actually a great idea, I've always tried to extract "useful" info from PokeyPoke in my videos from it but something where I just talk about how the project is going with no real editing etc could be a nice way to do some more content that doesn't take weeks to produce.

Firstly, you're the best creators ever. I learned too many thing from your youtube videos. Anyways my suggestion is. I love the quick tips videos. easier to learn, not complicated and so fun. Some of your videos unfortunately, it is very difficult for beginners to understand and grasp them. When this is the case, most of us just look at the topics and copy and paste. And finally, we want to see more videos from you. If you are undecided about what to do, you can choose 3 topics and vote in the community or with your patreon supporters. Thanks!
