Treading carefully.

EDIT - I apparently forgot capitalization is a thing when using non-comic fonts

Commentary

I'm pretty sure there isn't a dedicated term for what Larry just described, but it also would not shock me if there was.

Nintendosexual

There's almost certainly a word for it in German. Or will be shortly, since German has a system built in for welding words together when you need a new word

Lak

I thought this was *wrong* answers only.

Latency

Yup, which would imply this answer is wrong... Considering he probably isn't legally married to his Nintendo Switch, this checks out.

Clearly he isn't married to his Switch, he's married to his DS.

Re: today's comic commentary. I thought the reason Tedd could do things Arthur can't is because they're a different person. Different people are different. We may have just learned part of why they're more different, but I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that. Even by the end of El Goonish Shive, we're not going to fully know what's up with them. But we'll know more about them than now.

David Howe

Different, sure, but I think it is more that Tedd takes a analytical approach, and has spent years honing their ability to see and interpret magic, while Arthur really didn't. I find it more interesting here, in addition to confirmation of fan theories about how Arthur was related to Jay, that we learn that the university president is magic-aware, and that Jay will be going there too.
