Cheats in Paralives + Money Cheat Command Name Poll (Patreon)

Hey there!

This week, we wanted to give your a first look at cheats in Paralives.

Cheat Command Window  (For Patrons only. Please don't share)

We think that cheats are very important in a sandbox life simulation game. Of course, many people like to play by the rules, earn their money fair and square and play the game like it was meant to be played. But a lot of players also like to get curious and try a few cheats here and there. If you are like me, you don't always have the time to save up for that very expensive top quality bed and sometimes you don't feel like having to fill your social needs everyday, for instance. That's why we are creating a complete cheat command window where players can do all sort of useful things: change the time of day, change the current money balance, disable some needs, unlock hidden content and a lot more. The goal is to create cheats for almost anything that can be cheated!

If you're not sure what path to follow, you could ask our 8 ball!

Cheats are also very useful for us developers because they allow us to find and fix bugs in the game. For example:
- Buy a specific item that we can't afford in our saved game but need to test or fix a bug on
- Reset the genetics data on a character because it has an issue
- Set the specific time of day to test and improve the lighting
- Benchmark the game to test performance and see which 3D models and textures are heavier
- Force the character to play a given animation to see if everything runs smoothly
- A ton more cheats like that are useful to test and debug the game

Money Cheat Name Poll

We'd like you to help us find the best name for the cheat command that gives money. Our current money cheat is PrintMoney but we need a better name! So please type your suggestions in the comments below. Try to come up with fun names that do not necessarily contain the word Para since we already have quite a few things that start with the Para prefix in the game :)

We'll pick our favorites and we'll do a poll to choose the final winners in next week's post. There might be multiple money cheat commands to gain different amount of money so there might be multiple winners! Next week, we'll also ask the Discord and Twitter community for money cheat name ideas and include them in next week's final vote on Patreon as well.
