I appreciate that the floating black slab appears to be proportioned as 1:4:9, as is proper for floating black slabs. An easy detail to mess up!

I just want to congratulate Jeph on drawing the monolith with the proper 1:4:9 proportions, or at least a reasonable approximation. I read and re-read 2001 and 2010 so many times as a kid. Love this reference.
