And subtly moving May's storyline along at bit. Nice.

Really loving watching these time lapses. Thank you for sharing them!

Andrew

I think we need a time lapse of May reading prolapse monthly.

Even peeking behind the curtain like this, it's all still magic to me.

Dirk Bergstrom

Thanks, Always interesting to see the creative process. You should use some of your instrumental metal as the soundtrack.

As others have said, watching how the sausages are made is very cool. Thanks! (hurr hurr hurr "sausages")

Merry Xmas, btw. I thought you were going to take it easy .. but then again, I'm spending my xmas vacation doing a kitchen remodeling, so .. who am I to judge.. :-) Love the time lapse.

This might be a silly question - why the pink background when colouring the people?

This is awesome. Thanks, Jeph!

These time lapses are wonderful

My day job is System Engineering. People doing their thing in their environment is cool. This was job porn. EDIT: Consider an over the shoulder video.

I have a question, Why pink when you are flatting out the colors?

Errol Lobo

I am amazed at the character scaling without a background. I'm not an artist - to me, background should be first, so I know where everyone lives in it.

Thanks Jeph, that's cool to watch.

SE here too. I support a bunch of aerospace engineers. It's not all that different.

This is going to sound weird, but I think I slightly prefer dialogue with no characters, the before instead of the after. It's clear from the previous comic who's speaking, and this dialogue works with an empty shop. Maybe the bottom two lines in panel four could use small heads beside the word bubbles. Maybe I'm just being weird.

This all gives me so much more respect for the power of Jeph’s use of composition to tell stories.

I would love to know how long it took in real time!?

I just had a burst of nostalgia from watching live-streamed comic drawing many years ago, and the weirdest part was the super sped up Daft Punk

Thanks again, Jeph! Another cool video.

I miss watching the stream. I met my fiance' in there. :)

I find that it's a good neutral color so I can easily see if there are any parts I've forgotten to color in, which is easy to do on a white background!

Bwahaha, employee chat only.

"Big shot AIs"? An earlier iteration of Yay & Co?
