Ray Cornwall

I spent too many years in Delaware.

Will Weaver

Oh boy, Clinton’s getting tipsy...

Anonymous

As someone from Delaware I can attest to the absolute truth of that.

Anonymous

Nerds ❤️❤️❤️

Morgan

Pffft, these cute dorks.

Bromance! #headcanon

Asher Rose Fox

Jeph, would you please consider tweaking the tagline to not use "dumb", which implies that people who don't or can't speak are inherently unintelligent? ("Stupid" has similar problems, but "dumb" is worse.)

Corpus Callosum

Why do you make me ship Clinton with everyone

BobC

Really. I hate it when Jeph trolls the shippers.

Anonymous

If you're going to tone police basic words in the English language, shouldn't you at least offer the creator a better euphemism?

Anonymous

Elliott is starting to make me actively angry. I hate that he keeps defaulting to this endless cycle of awkward crushes and jealously side-eyeing the people who actively pursue them. It seems to be a circuitous pattern at this point. ...but then I remember that he and Clinton figuratively made a unicorn together, so by all means PROCEED.

Anonymous

That was actually pretty suave.

Asher Rose Fox

There is no good euphemism for "unintelligent, but I mean it in a funny way". But I trust Jeph to come up with a better tagline if he chooses to.

Anonymous

I love it myself. Keep Jeph happy, keep updates on schedule. )

Andrew

Soft Boy looks like he's shrunk a bit, maybe he's like Baymax but governed by self-confidence. I think I'm starting to self-insert an 'in' at the start of his T-shirt :)

Brian

“Dumb” can mean “unintelligent” or “person who cannot speak” and the difference is in the context. “A dumb person would say Delaware” requires that the dumb person be able to speak, so it can be inferred from this that it only refers to the form of the word dealing with intelligence and not the form that deals with speech. There’s literally no way it implies that those that cannot speak are unintelligent. To what alternative would you prefer this word be tweaked?

Bagge

I don't understand this whole "confidence" thing Clinton has going on, but I like it.

Anonymous

Clinton didn't define if there was any decimal value.... so technically if his 2 was 2.3 upwards, the answer would be 5.

Dylan T

Elliot is a good egg

Ben Russell-Gough

That has to be the smartest and sassiest thing that Clinton has ever said! Maybe he is Claire's brother after all! I'm expecting this week to end with Brun announcing to them that they are very obviously flirting with each other. Meanwhile, I see that Elliot's body volume is going on a variable setting again!

Ben Russell-Gough

This may just be me but I suspect that Jeph is deliberately maximising Clinton's opportunities in this arc.

Ben Russell-Gough

It usually takes a fairly big epiphany for people to radically change their behaviour and I don't think that Elliott has had one of those recently.

Zach Elwyn

Confused.,. what did Clinton say that was so sassy? Seemed like EIlliot's answer was the sassy one.

Jessi Lloyd

for everyone wanting an alternative, how about "a fool would say Delaware" ?

Anonymous

He actually ended up with Pintsize somehow stuck to his hand interface o.O

Rob McBobson

As has been said already, the fact that we're talking about people speaking makes it completely obvious that mute people aren't being discussed. 'Tis a non-issue.

Ben Russell-Gough

Sassy: Panel 1 - "Well, y'know, I'm just so suave!" Smart: Panel 4 - "You see, that's what a *smart* person would say!"

Daryl Sawyer

Leah, but Clinton either anticipated that answer, or rolled with it well.

Daryl Sawyer

I want to see Brun to just walk up, correctly assess the situation between the three of them, and without any foreshadowing, preamble, or lead-up of any kind, just say to them, "We should have a threesome."

Anonymous

Isn't half the joke that a dumb person wouldn't say anything, and Clinton missed that?

Anonymous

By the same token, clothing can't have a sexual orientation, and yet "that shirt is so gay" is still homophobic.

Gary Walker

Pintsize is actually why Clinton knows everybody. http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1898

Morgan

Dude I thought I was the only one who shipped him with everybody.

gatherer818

@Paul Rendell you can tell he hasn't, because Pintsize hasn't try to f*** the attachment point where Clinton's robo-hand... wait... I think he DID try to f*** the attachment point! Hold on!

Holly Nelson

Jessi: Except, there are quite a number of extremely intelligent fools out there. Alas.

Anonymous

There are many sensible and hard-working fools out there today, as can be seen in any comedy club in the country - nay, the world! - and this backhanded slap demeans an ancient and honorable profession. It might be true that a fool would say "Delaware", if he or she was looking for a cheap laugh, but to imply that a fool would not know any better (assuming, of course, that this particular fool knows something about the basic geography of the eastern United States, or has some passing familiarity with either place names or family names) is grossly insulting. You take that back right now.
