I find this situation not surprising at all. Remember, they almost had to lop off Emily's hands because she got them stuck in Claire's hair. Granted, that was pre-haircut. My wife has pre-haircut Claire hair. I'm very familiar with the problems.

Pintsize is a cube with five balls attached to him, all of which are held on with magnets or something and are removable. I am honestly not clear how this could have happened, or be at all difficult to fix.

Nah, he's a military-grade chassis, and so he should be completely waterproof. Unless someone were to rip off some of his appendages, of course. Then he might be rather susceptible to water damage. Just sayin'!
