Quick Update for Writers & Directors (Patreon)

Hola! First up some bad news - we are having to cancel the planned video live stream we had planned this coming Sunday. Apologies for any disappointment caused. We will try to announce a rearranged date, as soon as we can. 

The cancellation is due to things really ramping up work wise and Pete wants to focus all time on continuing the writing for the upcoming "Wick vs Rambo vs McClane" battle. And we simply have to finish the writing soon, so that the lyrics can be recorded and the music track sorted, because we have a studio booked in early November to film it. 

The writing is thankfully going well. We now have a full verse laid out for each character but it needs a lot of work still. We are writing lines, tweaking lines, throwing out lines, writing new ones - rinse and repeat. Its shaping up well, but with three characters it's always a bit more trickier than a standard 1vs1 battle. But, from what I've seen and heard up this point, I am very excited about this one. 

At the same time work continues on the Bezos vs Musa battle. We have Javi and Josh and Peter all working on the video editing. We are aiming to have that ready for release in mid-late November. So, there's double the amount of stress at the moment. But, it'll all be worth it in the end!

This week Atul went checking out weapons ahead of the Rambo vs Wick shoot. There are lots of options in LA - check out the photos below. We'll be renting a few weapons for the shoot, and in light of the tragic events with Alec Baldwin's filming this week, we'll certainly be selecting non-firing ones for our own health and safety. 

Anyway, I just wanted to give you a quick update on where things are. The next six weeks is going to be pretty non-stop for the crew. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

If I have any news about the two upcoming battles, I'll post another update next week. We will definitely have a new quiz for you soon with a big bumper set of prizes. I was hoping to have that ready this weekend, but its likely gonna be the middle of next week before it's out. They might take five minutes to enter, but trust me they take ages to put together! :)
