TOTK RANDOMIZER UPDATE NOTES - v0.7.1

New:

  • SUB KEY FEATURE: It's now possible to obtain randomized Meals from chests and NPCs (and the Randomizer Cycle)! There are many different possible Meals with different heart recovery amounts and Elixirs with randomized effect levels and times!
  • QOL: All items are now treated as though they have already been collected before - this removes the first time pickup dialogue and saves time!

Additions:

  • Added 2 Random Enemy Spawn groups (Bokoblins, Hinoxes).
  • Added 578 Goals (578 Visit Locations).

Changes:

  • Removed the goals to visit the Great Sky Island and the Room of Awakening for an obvious reason.
  • Zonai Device Dispensers in the Depths no longer show the default items in their Device table.
  • 4 Random Enemy Spawn groups can now be active at the same time (before 3).
  • Adjusted the chances for getting Armor Pieces, Meals, Items and Weapons.
  • Lynels and Horriblins will now spawn slightly closer to the player.
  • Gloom Hands now start spawning at a later time.
  • Crates now drop slightly less items.

Bugfixes:

  • Potentially fixed a bug where some enemies and objects in Temples and Hyrule Castle would not drop randomized loot. This might or might not be true due to Nintendo's weird file structure.

Optimizations:

  • Reduced the time it takes to reset and reroll goals.
  • General code optimization.
